The Heart Behind Our Mission
Founder of Nizar Foundation & Nizarline — Kudra Mohammed
Her journey into service didn’t begin with a foundation; it began with a feeling.
At fifteen, she began visiting hospitals in, Kenya not as part of an organization, but simply as a young girl who wanted to offer comfort to patients who felt forgotten. Those early moments shaped my understanding of dignity, compassion, and the quiet power of showing up for others.
A Path Rooted in Purpose
In those early years, her efforts moved under different names but carried the same heart.
She began with Touch a Heart, a personal initiative to visit patients and support families in small, meaningful ways.
Later, she founded YTO Kenya, a youth-focused platform where she shared messages of encouragement, gratitude, and hope helping young people navigate life with purpose and self-belief.
Growing Into Community Impact
Over time, this purpose expanded into community programs such as:
- Feed a School Child: Providing meals to students facing food insecurity
- Donate a Bucket: Offering essential household items to vulnerable families
- Youth Mentorship: Guiding young women and students toward confidence and leadership
- Environmental Renewal: Planting trees and educating communities on sustainability
- Water Access Efforts: Supporting early borehole and water initiatives for underserved regions
These experiences shaped the foundation of who she is and why Nizar Foundation exists today a mission rooted in empathy, service, and the belief that every life deserves dignity and opportunity.
